Church Announcements as of August 6, 2012...

We have a date set for our 4th annual Homecoming celebration!  It will be on Sunday, September 30.  We've set a later date than usual because of the heat; hopefully by the end of next month, we'll be getting a little cooler weather than we're having now.

Remember, if you have ideas for the Homecoming Service, please post them here, mention them to one of our pastors (Randy Holmes or Mike Dalton), or send an email to calodwc@gmail.com.  Also, if you have pictures that you would like to go in our annual slideshow, please get those to Lisa Ivey; they'll be scanned and returned to you if you submit an actual photo, but you can also email them to calodwc@gmail.com, or save them on a disk or flash drive.

Ladies, don't forget that Lysa TerKeurst will be speaking at Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus on Thursday, October 18.  It would be great to have a group get together and attend this event; we all need a "girls' night out" now and then!

This Saturday, August 11, will be our monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast at Ryan's in Columbus at 7:30 am.  Join our men for a time of strong fellowship, devotion, and prayer!

Next Saturday, August 18, is our monthly Nursing Home Bingo ministry at Windsor.  If you've never been involved in this ministry, it is a great way to spend your Saturday morning!  The residents at Windsor look forward to this visit so much, and the Bingo group is growing every month!  You can meet our team at Windsor in East Columbus around 10:00 am.  For more information, email us or contact Rice Glover.
